This NZD 1.1 bn (~USD 627 m) contract supplies new rolling stock for the Lower North Island Rail Integrated Mobility (LNIRIM) – Alstom Adessia Stream B BEMU Fleet programme in New Zealand. The fleet operates on 1067 mm Cape gauge. Greater Wellington Regional Council and Horizons Regional Council are delivering the project, with Alstom as main contractor. Target opening is 2029, with an investment of NZD 1.1 bn (~USD 627 m).

Construction began in 2025, with completion expected in 2029.
