This 18.7 km light rail line was cancelled in New Zealand. The CC2M (City Centre to Māngere Line) project was officially cancelled on 14 January 2024 (not December 2023) by the National-led government as part of its 100-day plan. Business case stage NZD 14.6 bn (some sources cite NZD 29.2 bn for surface alternative). Auckland Transport / Waka Kotahi were the promoters.
