Athens–Patras Railway Electrification (Kiato–Rododafni) is a rail upgrade project in Greece, currently under construction.
This 70.6 km electrification programme upgrades the existing Greece corridor to 25 kV AC 50 Hz. The line uses 25 kV AC 50 Hz electrification and 1435 mm standard gauge. ERGOSE S.A. is delivering the project, with TERNA S.A. and Mytilineos S.A. as main contractors. Under construction since 2022, the line is scheduled to open in 2026, with an investment of EUR 55 m (~USD 59 m).
Construction began in 2022, with completion expected in 2026.
