Project overview
This 35 km metro line is being commissioned in Egypt. It comprises 26 stations and 17.9 km of tunnels. The line uses 750 V DC third rail electrification, CBTC signalling and 1435 mm standard gauge. National Authority for Tunnels (NAT) is delivering the project, with Alstom as main contractor.
