Cairo Metro Line 1 Modernisation is a metro project in Egypt, currently under construction.

This signalling upgrade covers 44 km of track in Egypt. The line uses 750 V DC third rail electrification and 1435 mm standard gauge. National Authority for Tunnels (NAT) is delivering the project, with Colas Rail, Orascom Construction and Hitachi Rail as main contractors. Under construction since 2024, the line is scheduled to open in 2030, with an investment of EUR 850 m (~USD 918 m).

Construction began in 2024, with completion expected in 2030.
