Abuja Rail Mass Transit Phase 1 (Lots 1A, 1B, 3)

Project overview

This 45 km light rail line entered service in Nigeria. It comprises 12 stations. The line uses 25 kV AC 50 Hz electrification and 1435 mm standard gauge. Federal Capital Territory Administration (FCTA) is delivering the project, with China Civil Engineering Construction Corporation (CCECC) as main contractor. It opened in 2018, with an investment of USD 840 m.
