Peninsula Corridor Joint Powers Board (Caltrain) is delivering the project, with Balfour Beatty (electrification civil) and Stadler Rail (EMU $551m, Salt Lake City) as main contractors. It opened in 2024, with an investment of USD 2.4 bn.
Construction began in 2017 and the project opened in 2024.
