Merseyrail Class 777 Fleet Renewal is a commuter rail project in United Kingdom, currently operational.

A £700M (€805M) programme to replace Merseyrail's entire fleet with 53 new Stadler Class 777 EMUs — the first battery-electric bi-mode trains on a UK metro network. Operational since January 2023. The fleet includes battery capability for future route extensions beyond the 750V DC third-rail network.

Construction began in 2017 and the project opened in 2023.

The project has an estimated investment of £500M.
