This 80 km rail upgrade has been approved in Ukraine. The line uses diesel traction and 1435 mm standard gauge. Ukrzaliznytsia is delivering the project. Target opening is 2027, with an investment of EUR 190 m (~USD 209 m).
Construction began in 2026, with completion expected in 2027.
The project has an estimated investment of €190M.
