This 27.8 km metro line is under construction in Taiwan. It comprises 21 stations. The line uses 750 V DC third rail electrification, CBTC signalling and 1435 mm standard gauge. Taoyuan City Government and Department of Rapid Transit Systems are delivering the project, with Hitachi Rail STS (signalling) as main contractor. Under construction since 2018, the line is scheduled to open in 2026, with an investment of TWD 98.2 bn (~USD 3.1 bn).
