Taipei Metro Circular Line Stages 2 and 3

Project overview

This 28.9 km metro line is under construction in Taiwan. It comprises 24 stations. The line uses 750 V DC third rail electrification, CBTC signalling and 1435 mm standard gauge. New Taipei City Government and DORTS are delivering the project. Under construction since 2018, the line is scheduled to open in 2029, with an investment of TWD 110.0 bn (~USD 3.5 bn).
