This EUR 332 m (~USD 365 m) contract supplies new rolling stock for the ZSSK Škoda Panter BEMU Fleet (up to 36 units) programme in Slovakia. The fleet operates on ERTMS Level 2 signalling and 1435 mm standard gauge. ZSSK (Železničná spoločnosť Slovensko) is delivering the project, with Škoda Group and ŽOS Trnava as main contractors. Target opening is 2028, with an investment of EUR 332 m (~USD 365 m).
Construction began in 2025, with completion expected in 2028.
