This 11.9 km metro line is under construction in Romania. It comprises 14 stations and 80 km/h design speed. The line uses 750 V DC third rail electrification and 1435 mm standard gauge. Metrorex SA is delivering the project, with Dogus Insaat ve Ticaret, Trace Group and GP Group JSC as main contractors. Under construction since 2025, the line is scheduled to open in 2029, with an investment of EUR 2.6 bn (~USD 2.9 bn).
Construction began in 2025, with completion expected in 2029.
