This EUR 490 m (~USD 539 m) contract supplies new rolling stock for the ARF Romania Alstom Coradia Stream EMU Fleet (37 trains) programme in Romania. The fleet operates on ERTMS Level 2 signalling and 1435 mm standard gauge. ARF (Autoritatea pentru Reformă Feroviară) is delivering the project, with Alstom as main contractor. Under construction since 2022, the line is scheduled to open in 2026, with an investment of EUR 490 m (~USD 539 m).
