This signalling upgrade covers 785 km of track in Poland, deploying ERTMS Level 2. The line uses 3 kV DC overhead electrification, ERTMS Level 2 signalling and 1435 mm standard gauge. PKP Polskie Linie Kolejowe (PKP PLK) is delivering the project, with Thales as main contractor. Under construction since 2020, the line is scheduled to open in 2026, with an investment of PLN 773 m (~USD 182 m).
