This contract supplies new rolling stock for the Lima Metro Línea 2 (Alstom Metropolis) programme in Peru. The fleet operates on CBTC signalling and 1435 mm standard gauge. Nuevo Metro de Lima and ATU are delivering the project, with Alstom as main contractor. Under construction since 2015, the line is scheduled to open in 2028.
