This 27 km metro line is under construction in Peru. It comprises 27 stations, 27 km of tunnels and 90 km/h design speed. The line uses 1500 V DC overhead electrification, CBTC signalling and 1435 mm standard gauge. ATU and ProInversión are delivering the project, with Nuevo Metro de Lima consortium (COSAPI, Impregilo, Ansaldo) and Alstom as main contractors. Under construction since 2015, the line is scheduled to open in 2028, with an investment of USD 5.7 bn.
