Project overview
This 233 km freight rail line entered service in Mongolia. The line uses diesel traction and 1435 mm standard gauge. Erdenes Tavan Tolgoi JSC and Mongolian Railway State-Owned Shareholding Company (MTZ) are delivering the project, with Mongolian Railway as main contractor. It opened in 2022.
