Rail Corridor VIII Eastern Section Phase 3 (Kumanovo–Bulgarian Border) is a rail upgrade project in North Macedonia, currently approved.

This 111 km rail upgrade has been approved in North Macedonia. It comprises 10 km of tunnels. The line uses 25 kV AC 50 Hz electrification, ERTMS Level 2 signalling and 1435 mm standard gauge. MŽ Infrastruktura AD and Ministry of Transport North Macedonia are delivering the project. Target opening is 2030, with an investment of EUR 560 m (~USD 616 m).

Construction began in 2024, with completion expected in 2030.

The project has an estimated investment of €560M.
