Bar–Golubovci Railway Modernisation is a rail upgrade project in Montenegro, currently approved.
This 39 km rail upgrade has been approved in Montenegro. The line uses 25 kV AC 50 Hz electrification, ERTMS Level 2 signalling and 1435 mm standard gauge. Željezničke infrastrukture Crne Gore (ŽICG) is delivering the project. Investment is EUR 231 m (~USD 254 m).
Construction began in 2026.
The project has an estimated investment of €231M.
