Project overview
This 243 km freight rail line is under construction in Liberia. The line uses diesel traction and 1435 mm standard gauge. Government of Liberia and National Port Authority are delivering the project, with ArcelorMittal Liberia (concessionaire) and Solway Mining (Western Cluster) as main contractors. Construction has been under way since 2023, with an investment of USD 1.8 bn.
