Project overview
This 86.5 km commuter rail line is under construction in South Korea. It comprises 14 stations and 180 km/h design speed. The line uses 25 kV AC 60 Hz electrification, ERTMS Level 2 signalling and 1435 mm standard gauge. Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport (MOLIT) are delivering the project, with Hyundai Engineering & Construction (lead) as main contractor. Under construction since 2024, the line is scheduled to open in 2028, with an investment of USD 3.4 bn.
