Yokohama Municipal Subway Green Line Extension (Hiyoshi–Shin-Yurigaoka)

Project overview

This 6.5 km metro line has been approved in Japan. It comprises 4 stations. The line uses 1.5 kV DC overhead electrification, CBTC signalling and 1435 mm standard gauge. Yokohama City Transportation Bureau is delivering the project. Target opening is 2030, with an investment of JPY 180.0 bn (~USD 1.3 bn).
