This 13.8 km light rail line entered service in Israel. It comprises 23 stations. The line uses 750 V DC overhead electrification and 1435 mm standard gauge. Jerusalem Transportation Master Plan (JTMP) and Ministry of Transport are delivering the project, with CityPass Consortium (Alstom, Ashtrom, Connex) as main contractor. It opened in 2011.

Construction began in 2002 and the project opened in 2011.
