Project overview
This 24 km light rail line is under construction in Israel. It comprises 40 stations. The line uses 750 V DC overhead electrification and 1435 mm standard gauge. Jerusalem Transportation Master Plan (JTMP) and Ministry of Transport are delivering the project. Under construction since 2025, the line is scheduled to open in 2029, with an investment of ILS 9.0 bn (~USD 2.5 bn).
