This contract supplies new rolling stock for the Israel Railways TRAXX AC3 Electric Locomotive Fleet programme in Israel. The fleet operates on ERTMS Level 2 signalling and 1435 mm standard gauge. Israel Railways (ISR) is delivering the project, with Alstom (formerly Bombardier Transportation) as main contractor. It opened in 2024.
Construction began in 2015 and the project opened in 2024.
