This 30 km rail upgrade has been approved in Israel. It comprises 160 km/h design speed. The line uses 25 kV AC 50 Hz electrification, ERTMS Level 2 signalling and 1435 mm standard gauge. Israel Railways (ISR) and Ministry of Transport are delivering the project.
