This 70 km high-speed line is under construction in Israel. It comprises 250 km/h design speed. The line uses 25 kV AC 50 Hz electrification, ERTMS Level 2 signalling and 1435 mm standard gauge. Israel Railways (ISR) and Ministry of Transport are delivering the project. Under construction since 2024, the line is scheduled to open in 2029, with an investment of ILS 15.5 bn (~USD 4.2 bn).
Construction began in 2024, with completion expected in 2029.
