PT Kereta Cepat Indonesia China (KCIC) is delivering the project, with China Railway International, China Railway Group and PT Wijaya Karya as main contractors. It opened in 2023, with an investment of USD 7.3 bn.
Construction began in 2016 and the project opened in 2023.
