This new station forms part of the Hung Shui Kiu (Tuen Ma Line infill) programme in Hong Kong. The hub will host 1 platform tracks. The line uses 25 kV AC 50 Hz electrification, CBTC signalling and 1435 mm standard gauge. MTR Corporation is delivering the project. Under construction since 2023, the line is scheduled to open in 2030, with an investment of HKD 7.8 bn (~USD 1.0 bn).
Construction began in 2023, with completion expected in 2030.
The project has an estimated investment of HKD 7.80B.
