Project overview
This 340 km rail upgrade is under construction in Ghana. The line uses 1435 mm standard gauge. Ghana Railway Development Authority (GRDA) is delivering the project, with China Railway Wuju Group Corporation (CRWG) as main contractor. Under construction since 2019, the line is scheduled to open in 2026, with an investment of USD 1.3 bn.
