This 97 km rail upgrade entered service in Ghana. The line uses diesel traction and 1435 mm standard gauge. Ghana Railway Development Authority (GRDA) is delivering the project, with AFCONS Infrastructure as main contractor. It opened in 2024, with an investment of USD 447 m.
Construction began in 2018 and the project opened in 2024.
