Estonian Railway Electrification Programme (Aegviidu–Tartu + Tapa–Narva) is a conventional rail project in Estonia, currently under construction.
This 290 km electrification programme upgrades the existing Estonia corridor to 2×25 kV AC 50 Hz. The line uses 2×25 kV AC 50 Hz electrification and 1520 mm Russian gauge. Eesti Raudtee (Estonian Railways) is delivering the project, with AS GRK Eesti as main contractor. Under construction since 2023, the line is scheduled to open in 2027, with an investment of EUR 160 m (~USD 173 m).
Construction began in 2023, with completion expected in 2027.
