This 66 km rail upgrade is under construction in Algeria. It comprises 220 km/h design speed. The line uses 25 kV AC 50 Hz electrification and 1435 mm standard gauge. ANESRIF is delivering the project. Under construction since 2018, the line is scheduled to open in 2027.
Construction began in 2018, with completion expected in 2027.
