This 9.5 km metro line is under construction in Algeria. It comprises 9 stations and 9.2 km of tunnels. The line uses 750 V DC third rail electrification, CBTC signalling and 1435 mm standard gauge. Entreprise Métro d'Alger (EMA) is delivering the project. Under construction since 2019, the line is scheduled to open in 2027.
Construction began in 2019, with completion expected in 2027.
