This 1.8 km metro line is under construction in Algeria. It comprises 3 stations and 1.8 km of tunnels. The line uses 750 V DC third rail electrification, CBTC signalling and 1435 mm standard gauge. Entreprise Métro d'Alger (EMA) is delivering the project, with Colas Rail and Kou.G.C. as main contractors. Under construction since 2017, the line is scheduled to open in 2027.
Construction began in 2017, with completion expected in 2027.
