Brno–Přerov Rail Line Modernisation (Nezamyslice–Kojetín Section) is a rail upgrade project in Czechia, currently under construction.
This 10 km rail upgrade is under construction in Czechia. It comprises 0.74 km of tunnels and 200 km/h design speed. The line uses 3 kV DC overhead electrification, ERTMS Level 2 signalling and 1435 mm standard gauge. Správa železnic is delivering the project, with STRABAG Rail (lead, 40.03%), Eurovia CZ and Chládek & Tintěra as main contractors. Under construction since 2025, the line is scheduled to open in 2029, with an investment of EUR 268 m (~USD 295 m).
Construction began in 2025, with completion expected in 2029.
