Wuhan Metro Line 12 (World's Longest Orbital Loop)

Project overview
This 60 km metro line is under construction in China. It comprises 37 stations and 80 km/h design speed. The line uses 1500 V DC overhead electrification, CBTC signalling and 1435 mm standard gauge. Wuhan Metro Group is delivering the project, with China Railway Engineering Group (CREC) as main contractor. The line is scheduled to open in 2026.
