Project overview
This 8 km metro line entered service in China. It comprises 5 stations. The line uses 1500 V DC overhead electrification, CBTC signalling and 1435 mm standard gauge. Shanghai Shentong Metro Group is delivering the project, with Shanghai Tunnel Engineering Co. and China Railway Construction Corporation (CRCC) as main contractors. It opened in 2025.
