Project overview
This 39 km metro line entered service in China. It comprises 31 stations and 80 km/h design speed. The line uses 1500 V DC overhead electrification, CBTC signalling and 1435 mm standard gauge. Shanghai Shentong Metro Group is delivering the project, with Shanghai Tunnel Engineering Co. and China Railway Construction Corporation (CRCC) as main contractors. It opened in 2021.
