This 35 km metro line entered service in China. It comprises 80 km/h design speed. The line uses 1500 V DC overhead electrification, CBTC signalling and 1435 mm standard gauge. Nanjing Metro Group is delivering the project, with China Railway Construction Corporation (CRCC) as main contractor. It opened in 2024.
Construction began in 2017 and the project opened in 2024.
