This 26 km metro line is under construction in Chile. It comprises 19 stations, 24.8 km of tunnels and 90 km/h design speed. The line uses 1500 V DC overhead electrification, CBTC signalling and 1435 mm standard gauge. Metro S.A. (Metro de Santiago) is delivering the project, with Acciona–Vinci–Ferrovial JV, Alstom Metropolis X50 and Thales CBTC Urbalis as main contractors. Under construction since 2023, the line is scheduled to open in 2028, with an investment of USD 2.5 bn.
