Project overview
This 25 km commuter rail line is in feasibility stage in Democratic Republic of the Congo. It comprises 8 stations. The line uses 25 kV AC 50 Hz electrification and 1435 mm standard gauge. Trans Connexion Congo (TCC) and Africa Finance Corporation (AFC) are delivering the project, with Alstom (technical advisor / MoU partner) as main contractor. Investment is USD 250 m.
