This 41.9 km airport rail link is under construction in Albania. It comprises 100 km/h design speed. The line uses diesel traction and 1435 mm standard gauge. Hekurudha Shqiptare (HSh) and Ministry of Infrastructure Albania are delivering the project. Under construction since 2021, the line is scheduled to open in 2027, with an investment of EUR 92 m (~USD 99 m).
Construction began in 2021, with completion expected in 2027.
The project has an estimated investment of €92M.
