Makedonski Železnici Transport, founded in 2007 from the unbundling of Makedonski Železnici and headquartered in Skopje, is the wholly state-owned North Macedonian national passenger and freight rail operator. With around 690 employees and MKD 1.16 billion (~USD 20M) in FY2023 revenue, it runs services on Corridor X between Tabanovce (Serbian border) and Gevgelija (Greek border) and on the Skopje-Kičevo route.
